PLYWOOD GUSSET ON THE
INSIDE OF THE RAFTER ONLY
PLACE THE TWO OUTSIDE TRUSSES AT EITHER END OF THE
ASSEMBLED TRUSS FRAME. THE PLYWOOD SIDE OF THE
GUSSETS MUST FACE THE INSIDE OF THE STRUCTURE. DECIDE
AT THIS TIME WHAT DIRECTION YOU WANT THE ROOF
EXTENSION TO FACE AND PLACE THE TRUSS FRAME
ACCORDINGLY.
ALIGN THE RAFTERS FLUSH WITH ENDS OF THE 2x6 PART OF
THE TRUSS FRAME AS SHOWN. THE RAFTER SHOULD LINE UP
WITH THE BEVEL ON THE TOP EDGE OF THE TRUSS FRAME.
SECURE EACH RAFTER IN PLACE WITH THREE 3 1/2" SCREWS
FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRUSS FRAME INTO END OF THE
RAFTERS AS SHOWN.

PRE-DRILL EACH OF THE HOLES TO PREVENT THE ENDS OF
THE TRUSS FRAME FROM SPLITTING WHEN PLACING THE SCREW.
