ATTACH THE GABLE PANELS (DC 1598, 1599) TOGETHER WITH 2 1/2" SCREWS TO MAKE AN ASSEMBLED
GABLE END.CENTRE THE GABLE END BEAM (DC 1296) ON THE UNDER-SIDE OF THE ASSEMBLED GABLE
END. PLACE THE BEAM SO THAT THE FLASHING THAT IS MOUNTED TO THE TOP IS HOOKED TO THE
INSIDE OF THE GABLE PANELS AND SLOPES DOWNWARD ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PANELS. AS SHOWN

DETAIL 1
. ATTACH THE BEAM WITH 4" SCREWS THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF THE BEAM THROUGH THE
PREDRILLED HOLES INTO THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE GABLE END PANELS AS SHOWN IN DIAGRAM 1.
THE 4" SCREW PACK IS PACKAGED WITH THE GABLE END BEAM.

LIFT THE ASSEMBLED GABLE TIGHT TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FASCIA PIECES AS SHOWN. ATTACH
THE PANELS TO THE WALL AND THE END RAFTERS WITH 2 1/2" SCREWS THROUGH THE FACE OF THE
GABLE PANEL INTO THE TRUSS FRAME AND THE OUTSIDE RAFTER. MAKE SURE THE GABLE PANEL IS
PLACED TIGHT TO THE UNDER SIDE OF THE FASCIA AND FLUSH AT EACH END BEFORE SECURING IT.
DO THIS ON BOTH GABLE ENDS OF THE STRUCTURE.
