Motor Brush Inspection and Replacement

Use a flat blade screwdriver to loosen the motor brush cap. Inspect the motor brush for length. If the
length is under 1/8 inch (3 mm), the motor brush needs to be replaced. If the motor brush is over 1/8
inch (3 mm), put the existing brush back into the motor and replace the motor brush cap.
