As soon as the message “Attention! Maintenance required! Please replace all filter units!” (Achtung War-
tung! Bitte alle Filtereinheiten austauschen!) appears on the display, the pre- and post-filters need to be
changed.
Filter change
The message „Attention maintenance required! Please replace all filter units!“ (Achtung
Wartung! Bitte alle Filtereinheiten austauschen!) is only displayed during the annual filter
change.
The semi-annual pre-filter change must be scheduled and performed by the user.

Stop the permeate production mode (Permeatproduktion)
with the
ESC-Key.
Select in the menu the operating maintenance preparation
mode (Vorbereitung Wartung). Confirm with the
OK-Button.
Follow the instructions on the display.
Disconnect the water supply to your device and open the with-
drawal tap. Confirm with the
OK-Button.
After you open the withdrawal tap, the pressure in the supply
tube will be reduced. Please wait until the next instruction is
shown on the display.
Now disconnect the inlet tube from the angle valve and press
the
OK-Button
to confirm.
To reset the filter change interval (Reset nach Filterwechsel),
you must select in the operating mode menu the buttons
(B)
and
(–)
and hold them for at least 5 seconds.
Turn filter cartridge counterclockwise 90° out of
the filter head to change the filter unit.
This completes the semi-annual filter change and you can reconnect the Verdanium Geo and put it into ope-
ration. To do this, use the IB program in the operating mode menu.
Before inserting the new filter units, remove the
protective cap from the filters. You can easily
push it upwards to remove it.
Insert the new filter cartridge into the filter
heads by rotating the filter cartridges 90 ° clock-
wise. Proceed in the same way for the second PP
pre-filter unit.
Pre-filter replacement
The pre-filters are the preliminary stage before the reverse osmosis membranes and are specifically desig-
ned to protect them. Therefore, it is necessary to change the pre-filters regularly every six months. Chan-
ging the pre- filters regularly is also one of the warranty conditions. Thus, please observe the filter change
intervals. To change the pre-filters or the post-filters, please refer to the illustrations below and proceed as
follows:
Disconnect the device from the power supply. To do this, turn it off and pull the power cord from the device.
Please disconnect all tubes from the device. Be sure to place a towel under the Verdanium Geo. Possible
residual water in the tube connections can drip out of the tubes when loosening.
Push the tubes into the connector couplings, then push the retaining element into the connector and pull
the tube out. Now open the suitcase to access the filter units. These are located in the lid of the system.
Thanks to the tilting filter heads, you can change
the filter without additional tools. Take the first
PP pre-filter unit out of the Verdanium Geo in a
forward direction.
