To install the Hydro-Stopper, proceed as follows:
Insert an AA LR 6 alkaline battery into the Hydro-Stopper and mount it with the sealing strainer inserted
onto the angle valve of the cold-water connection. Do not use rechargeable batteries in the Hydro-Stopper,
only use an AA LR 6 Alkaline battery, as it will not discharge on its own and will last for a year in the Hydro-
Stopper without any problems. Screw the connection adapter 3/4“ to 3/8” tube onto the Hydro-Stopper.
Place the sensors of the Hydro-Stopper at the lowest point of your built-in kitchen cabinet.
Change the Energizer Alkaline AA LR 6 battery after 7-8 years and check for proper
function each time the filters are changed.
All components marked here are included in the standard scope of delivery.

Both connections to the angle valve and the Verdanium Geo are under full water pressure
and should be installed with particular care. Check that both connections, with the angle val-
ve opened, are leak-proof.
To ensure safe operation of the Verdanium Geo, the long detector of the Hydro-Stopper
must be placed on the Verdanium Geo. Otherwise the manufacturer assumes no liability
for possible water damage or flooding.
If the distance to the Verdanium Geo is greater, the Hydro-Stopper must be positioned
accordingly.

To install the Hydro-Stopper on a 3/8“ angle valve, use the optional 3/8“ connection adapter and the connec-
tion set from 3/8“ tube to 3/4“ thread.
Close the water supply at the angle valve and unscrew the union nut to disconnect the tap pipe from the
angle valve. Now screw the 3/8“ angle valve connection adapter onto the angle valve and connect the pipe
of the water tap with the angle valve connection adapter.
Using the elbow connector and 3/8“ plastic tube, connect the 3/8“ connection set to the angle valve connec-
tion adapter and the prepared Hydro-Stopper. Make sure that the sealing sieve is inserted into the Hydro-
Stopper.
