9- Faults, possible causes, repairs
The motor does not start even though connected to the mains:
The pump functions but the pressure does not increase:
Insufficient water supply
Check the water supply hose: the interior diameter must be at least 15mm. Also, the
mains water pressure must be at least 1 bar
Large quantity of air in the water
supply Set up a storage container with a purge in the supply line between the tap and the
pump supply connector
Dirty water filter Clean the filter
Pump seals in poor condition or worn
valves
Call the VIRAX technical service
Valve V1 set at minimum pressure Open valve V1 until the required pressure is reached
Irregular release pressure and excessive noise:
Air in the water supply Check the two ends of the water supply hose for leaks
Insufficient water supply
Check the water supply hose: the interior diameter must be at least 15mm. Also,
the mains water pressure must be at least 1 bar
The pipes can be brought up to test pressure, but the required pressure cannot be maintained:

Warranty period
In accordance with our general conditions of sale, the warranty period for your tool is two years under normal
usage conditions. Proof of purchase will be requested (invoice or delivery note).
The warranty covers:
This warranty covers all material or manufacturing faults for your VIRAX tool. In this case, the tool will be
returned to you without cost. Your tool will be repaired or replaced identically.
Power is not reaching the appliance
Check the mains plug/socket connection. Check the condition of all cables right up
to the appliance. Call the VIRAX technical service
Power reaches the appliance but with
a very low voltage
Connect the motor to a 230V, 50/60 Hz (110 V) power supply
Pump may be blocked or frozen. Motor
impeller blocked
Call the VIRAX technical service
Valve V2 is not working properly
Check the operation of valve V2 Clean it and remove any dirt that may have built up
from the water supply
