To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.
Checking Convection Element Operation
Repair or replace
defective wiring.
Repair or replace
defective wiring.
Ensure house breaker or fuse is not open.
Disconnect power to the range.
Access control board assembly and wiring.
Connect power.
240 VAC present on control board connector
P1 red to P1 black?
Turn oven function selector to convection bake.
5 VDC present red to black?
Turn oven function selector to convection bake.
1.29 VDC present red to white?
3.71 VDC present black to white?
Turn thermostat to 400°.
5 VDC present orange to blue?
Turn thermostat to 400°.
3.0 VDC present orange to yellow?
2.0 VDC present blue to yellow?
240 VAC present K17 yellow to P2 white/red?
RTD open or shorted?

Disconnect power to the range.
