Connector J14 provides a 24V output to power the Barix module and an 
ACTIVE input signal to enable the audio input.  
 
The ACTIVE signal must be pulled above 2V (30V maximum) to enable 
the remote audio input. Refer to 

IP Networking Using Barix Modules

 later 

in this manual for further details on using this input. 

 

 
 

 
The BOWS has a paging console input that is used with the paging
