Configuring Client Settings

Configuring Service Access Settings

Printer Mapping

Click the drop-down menu to enable/disable printer mapping.

When

Enable

is selected, users can access a local or network printer in a

Remote Desktop session.

NOTE:

You need to add a local or network printer for your SC-T35 first, and then

enable this feature here to use that printer in a Remote Desktop session.

NOTE:

For detailed instructions on how to add a local or network printer for your

SC-T35, please refer to section “4.4.6 Adding a Local Printer” on page

71 or “4.4.7 Adding a Network Printer” on page 74.

Serial Port Mapping

Click the drop-down menu to enable/disable serial port mapping.

When

Enable

is selected, users can access a serial device, such as a barcode

scanner, in a Remote Desktop session.

Parallel Port Mapping

Click the drop-down menu to enable/disable parallel port mapping.

When

Enable

is selected, users can access a parallel device, such as a printer or

scanner, in a Remote Desktop session.

Smart Card Mapping

Click the drop-down menu to enable/disable smart card mapping.

When

Enable

is selected, users can access smart cards through a smart card

reader in a Remote Desktop session.
