4. Firmware Upgrade Procedure
When you receive the returned LCD TV, please check whether the firmware version is the
latest. If not, please do the following procedures to upgrade it to the latest version.
4.1 Equipment Needed
- N4285P4M LCD TV
- Fixture for Firmware Upgrade
- USB Flash Drive (USB sticker).
- Firmware Upgrade Program
N4285P4M PC
4.2 USB Update Method.
4.2.1
Set up a folder of “N4285p-4M” (has to be the same capitalization) under the USB root menu.
4.2.2 Put the three files of “codeFlash.code”, “custom.save”, and “dataFlash.data” into the folder of
“N4285p-4M”.
4.2.3 Insert the USB sticker into the TV.
4.2.4 Select the TV source.
4.2.5 Enter Factory Mode
Method 1: Press the “MENU” key on the remote control to show the OSD, then press “9” “9” “1” to
enter Factory Mode.
Method 2: Press “Enter”+ “CH”+ “Power” keys simultaneously to enter Factory Mode.
4.2.6
Select “USB Update” and press “Enter” to update the program.
4.2.7 During the update, please don’t touch the TV. When update is completed, TV will shut down
automatically.
4.2.8 Remove the USB sticker, and restart the TV. Now the update has completed successfully.
