• Position the products carefully.
• Do not exceed the load limit. The maximum load on the shelves is 15 kg per metre.
•
Do not place products so that they protrude over the front edge of the shelf or obstruct the
inlet grid.
An unobstructed space must be left between the shelves and the top plate of the cabinet.
The required space is 80 mm for the heated cabinet (H-version) and 20 mm for other cabinet
types. Products must not be placed in front of or on top of the inlet and outlet grids and must
not protrude over the front edges of the shelves. Improper loading of the cabinet will disrupt
the air flow and raise the temperature of products in the cabinet.
See
figures 1 and 3 on the inside cover
(Saga), and
figures 6 and 8
(Aida) .
The cabinet is not designed to cool down or warm up products but to maintain
them at the temperature at which they are placed in the cabinet. Food products
cooler or warmer (depending on the cabinet type) than the specified temperature
should not be placed in the cabinet.
NOTE
4.3. Humidity regulator
Saga / Aida cabinet with humidity regulator maintains humidity in the cabinet at a preset level
(normally 50%).
The humidity control in HC-versions will only function if the temperature in the cabinet can be
kept to at least +12 °C. The temperature can be switched to +6 °C for normal use or +15 °C in
the chocolate cabinet version. A humidistat installed in the cabinet controls the relative humidity
level. The sensor will cut off air drying when the humidity level is at the set value. When the
humidistat is set to 100 %, no drying process occurs. When the unit is operating, the air flows
through the evaporator, which freezes out some of the moisture and also lowers the temperature
in the cabinet. A heater installed after the evaporator then raises the temperature slightly. This
decreases the relative humidity of the circulating air. The heater remains switched on until switched
off by the sensor, and is equipped with a control thermostat to prevent overheating.
4.4. NRC-100 control device
The type of the control device depends on the cabinet.
NOTE
NRC-100 is a cabinet controller that automates cabinet defrosting by means of a thermostat and
temperature sensor.
4.4.1. Display messages
In normal status, the display shows cabinet temperature.
Defrosting signals
Waiting for other cabinets
when synchronising defrost.
Pull down. Cooling until
expected temperature is
reached.
Defrosting under way.
