Cleaning and maintenance of the refrigeration unit
Attention!
Remove the plug from the power source during
cleaning and maintenance, and ensure it cannot be
accidentally
reinserted.
The refrigeration unit should be inspected periodically
after beginning of operation and if necessary cleaned.
Depending on the degree of contamination, the time
between inspections and cleanings should be determined.
The intervals between cleanings will depend on the
conditions of the surroundings.
The condenser and evaporator can be cleaned either with
a soft cleaning brush, air compressor, or, in case of oily
contamination, with industrial cleansers. Do not use sharp
or pointed objects. The thin fins may not be bent or
damaged during cleaning.
Do not spray the unit with water or steam!
3.1 Disposal of refrigerant
If the refrigeration unit must be replaced by another one,
ensure that the pipe connectors on the unit are not
damaged such that refrigerant could escape.
Defective refrigeration units or refrigerant removed from
the device must be disposed of according to the
regulations
applying.
4.
Installation of the refrigeration unit in a Viessmann
coldroom
Attention!
Prior to assembly, the load capacity of the coldroom
ceiling must be checked.
The weights of the refrigeration units are listed in the
technical
data.
There must be enough room in front of the suction and
exhaust openings of the refrigeration unit to ensure
proper
ventilation.
- at least 600 mm in front of all such suction and exhaust
openings. The suction and exhaust units are shown in
the dimensional drawings.
Ceiling panels which the units are to be installed in should
be laid with the inside surface up.
Fix the enclosed assembly template on the surface in the
appropriate position using adhesive tape.
Mark the middle of the drilling holes and the corners of
the
pattern.
Marking points on the template.
Remove the template and drill the fastening holes for the
enclosed
dowels.
Draw the cutting lines by connecting the corner markings
with a pencil.
Using a sabre saw cut out the frame for the unit.
Attention!
The cut edges and drill holes must be protected
against corrosion with galvanising paint.
