1. Description

The units have been designed for the temperature range

given. If they have been operating outside of the given

range for a number of days, a serious fault in the unit must

 be

considered.

1.1 Deep-freezer

refrigeration

units

FT 0700, FT 1000, FT 1200, FT 1500

The units are designed for refrigeration of rooms in which

goods are kept at temperatures between -1°C and -25°C.

1.2    Refrigeration unit

CT 0900, CT1200, CT1500, CT 2000, CT 3000

These units are designed for refrigeration of rooms in which

goods are kept at temperatures between -5°C and +19°C.

2.

General Notes

2.1   Extract from our conditions of guarantee

The guarantee is for one year. The period begins on the day

of delivery, as shown in the delivery note or invoice. Within

the period of guarantee, functional faults resulting from bad

quality or materials will be repaired free of charge.

Other claims resulting, especially those relating to

consequential damages, cannot be recognized.

No guarantee will be assumed for damage resulting form

improper use or operation, or improper assembly on the

part of the buyer or other parties, or for natural

depreciation, improper or careless handling, or for chemical,

electrochemical or electrical damage insofar as these do not

result from our own actions , or from non-attention to the

directions for assembly, operation and maintenance, or

from improper changes or repairs to the equipment by the

buyer or third parties, or resulting from parts supplied by

other companies. The guarantee is invalid if the coolant

circulation system is opened by unauthorized personnel, or

by interference with the system, or if the serial number of

the unit is changed or made unreadable.

2.2   Norms and regulations

At the time of production, the unit has been built and

tested according to the valid norms and regulations.

It complies with the
EMC Directive 2004/108/EC,
machinery directive 2006/42/EG.
The unit has been inspected at the factory for refrigerati-
on circulation leakage and for function.

2.3   Requirements for installation area / Intended use

The refrigeration unit may not be installed outdoors.

For economical operation, the temperature of the

surroundings of the unit should be from +5°C to +25°C.

The relative humidity of the room should not exceed

 80%.

The room must be well-ventilated in order to ensure

release of heat. Avoid a direct source of heat near the

unit. Heating of the room must be avoided as this will

reduce the cooling efficiency and increase power usage.

The refrigeration unit is designed to allow open suction

and blow-off of air. If air ducts are required, a

refrigeration specialist must be consulted.

Sufficient free space must be provided for the ventilation

openings of the unit to guarantee proper ventilation.

- at least 600 mm from all ventilation openings

If this distance cannot be maintained, suitable measures

must be taken to guarantee proper ventilation

(air deflectors, ducts, additional fans).

Do not use the unit in areas in which strong magnetic

impulses can be expected or near radio antennae.
