Connect the ends of the filling hose
without valves with the connections
of the pressure gauge set

Remove protective cap from ser-
vice valve

of three-way diverter

valve

and connect filling hose

Connect the centre hose

pressure gauge set

with

vacuum pump

Start vacuum pump

Let the pump run for 15 min.

Close the valve between pressure
gauge set

and vacuum pump.

Stop vacuum pump

and wait 5

min.
Should the indicated value change
within this period, that would indi-
cate a leak.
Remove the leak and repeat the
process.

Run vacuum pump

until a

vacuum has been built (the value
indicated by the pressure gauge
must be near to 0 bar).

Note

The pump runtime will be subject to
the ambient conditions.

Remove filling hose

from ser-

vice valve

, then first fit and sub-

sequently tighten the protective
cap with 11 to 13 Nm.

Evacuating type OT307H

Note

Prior to evacuating the system, carry out a leak test (pressure test with dried
nitrogen).
