Checking the heat pump for noise
Checking the appliance for unusual noises, e.g. oper-
ating noise of fan, compressor and pumps. Venting
again if required.
Checking the system function

Check the function of all system components, e.g.
circulation pumps, 3-way diverter valves.
■
Call up temperatures at the heat pump control unit.
■
Check the heat meter readings if necessary.
4-way diverter valve in the outdoor unit
■
The 4-way diverter valve is de-energised in heating
mode.
■
In cooling mode, the 4-way diverter valve is live. The
heat pump is operated in reverse (refrigerant circuit
reversal).
Reset high limit safety cut-out (only type AWB(-M)-E-AC)

Please note
If the heat pump is exposed to temperatures
below
–
15 °C, e.g. during storage or transport,
the high limit safety cut-out of the instantaneous
heating water heater may respond.
Heat up the high limit safety cut-out to above
20 °C and press the reset button on the high
limit safety cut-out.

Instructing the system user
The system installer should hand the operating instruc-
tions to the system user and instruct the user in oper-
ating the system. This also includes all components
added as accessories, such as remote controls.
Equipment and functions of the heating system must
be entered in the form in the appendix to the operating
instructions.
The system installer should also provide information
on the required maintenance.
