Horizontal should only be used for home security.
Input Resolution: The resolution of the captured image used for analytics processing.
Process Quality (Resolution): The resolution used when the analytics is processing (scale down/up) the
input source form the camera. 320x180: Tampering; 320x240: Intelligent Motion, Intrusion,
Loitering, Line Detector, Classification, Object Left/Removed, Wrong Direction, Crowd Detection.

Select the Process Quality (Resolution) from the drop-down list. A lower Process Quality is
recommended for better VA performance.
FG Extractor Mode: Foreground (opposite of background) pertains to the objects that are moving in the
scene. Advanced: Tampering, Intelligent Motion, Intrusion, Loitering, Line Detector,
Classification, Object Left/Removed, Wrong Direction, Crowd Detection.

Select the FG Extractor Mode from the drop-down list.

Standard is the fastest mode but is not robust in conditions such as illumination changes or
noise.

Advanced is the optimal mode for handling illumination changes with regards to true
detections vs false alarms.
◼
Ultimate is the slowest mode but is capable of handling complex scenes with illumination
changes and tree/water movement and automatically adjusts sensitivity.
Proper camera installation

Installation height: 8.2 ft/2.5m ~ 9.8 ft/3.0m

Installation type: Tilt about 30 degrees horizontally and face downward.

Object: The object must at least 9.8 ft/3 meters away from the camera.
When the settings are complete, click
Save
button to save the settings, or click
Reset
button to clear
all of the information you entered without saving it.
