Chain To Tour
If the last step action setting is Chain, the Chain To Tour setting will display onscreen. The Chain To Tour
setting defines the next tour to begin when the last step of the current tour is finished.

Edit Salvo Switch
Salvos are defined using the Edit Salvo Switch screen. After a salvo is defined to the system using this
screen, it may be activated manually at a keypad or may be used as a step in a salvo tour. Salvo tours are
discussed in
Define a Salvo Tour
on page 63. Refer to

for instructions on running salvos or tours from a remote keypad.
A salvo is defined by (preset) video displays from various cameras on various monitors. For example, salvo
01 might be defined as the display of video from camera station 08 on monitor 01, the display of video from
camera station 04 at preset 55 on monitor 02, and the display of video from camera station 05 on monitor 03.
Note that the camera station may be directed to a preset position upon activation of the salvo, but this is not
mandatory. The speed setting is applicable only for receivers or domes that support that function.
V1466A systems with only one card cage have two possible configurations: 256 cameras and 16 monitors, or
128 cameras and 32 monitors. A two card cage V1466A system has a maximum size of 256 cameras and 32
monitors. Any of these 32 monitors may be used in each salvo, for a total of 16 monitors per salvo. A
maximum of 64 salvos may be defined in the V1466A.
Note: To exclude a monitor from the salvo, choose “-”.
The monitor chosen as the high speed switching monitor (refer to page 71) will not be available.
Do not use the same monitor number more than once per salvo.
After defining the salvo number, press the Tab key to move to the table. Press the Enter key to save settings
and return to the previous menu. To return to the previous menu without saving, press the Escape key.
