Chapter 5 - Troubleshooting
If the KRX-3V5 does not power-up, check the following:
ƒ
Verify that the outlet, PoE or UPS supplying power is actually active. Plug in a lamp or other device to
the outlet to verify the 120 or 230 VAC.
If the KRX-3V5 does not appear on the VMC, check the following:
ƒ
Verify that the IP address in the decoder is correct. Use the VNSetup application to verify decoder
connection and correct IP address.
ƒ
Verify that the KRX-3V5 is correctly cabled to the workstation via hubs and switches.
ƒ
Verify that the monitor(s) is correctly connected to the correct output type: BNC, S-Video or VGA.
Chapter 6 - Maintenance
There is no maintenance required on the KRX-3V5; however, a periodic dusting of the exterior will ensure
maximum unit cooling.
