Proper usage

This instrument is intended for measurements on optical fiber

devices and systems.

Please make sure the instrument is not operated outside the

permitted ambient conditions.

Always make sure that the instrument is in proper working

order before switching it on.

Laser safety

This device is a Class 1 laser product according to

DIN EN 60825-1:2007.

No danger to eyes and skin is to be expected when used

properly (see

“Proper usage” on page 13

Nevertheless, you should observe the following warnings

regarding your safety and the safety of other people.

Always be aware of the hazard level of the instrument to be

connected.
