Engine oil change (03_02, 03_03)

The oil and cartridge filter "

C

" must be changed after 1,000 km and every 10,000 km

at an

authorised Piaggio service centre

. The engine should be emptied by draining

the oil from the drainage cap "

B

" of the gauze filter on the flywheel side. In order to

facilitate the oil drainage, loosen the cap/dipstick. Since a certain quantity of oil re-
mains in the circuit still, the top-up should be carried out with around 600 ÷ 650 cc of
oil from cap "

A

". Then start up the scooter, leave it running for a few minutes and

switch it off: after five minutes, check the level and if necessary top up

without ex-

ceeding the MAX. level

. The cartridge filter must be replaced at every oil change.

For top up and change, use new oil of the recommended type.
