OPTION

7.1

FUSE

It is possible to install additional fuses in order to satisfy the conditional short circuit current
requirements.
If one of the fuses associated with the individual SCR is blown, the MSS will detect the fault and display
the corresponding message on the control panel.
All three phases are monitored in this way.

1.

These fuses are fitted as standard on the 1000 A version.

2.

Select fuses according to the MSS rating, see table below:

RTU MODBUS KIT

Use this kit when you need to interface one MSS or one UPS with a MODBUS RTU plant monitoring
system.

The UPS or MSS will communicate with the plant monitoring system towards an Ethernet connection. If
the plant monitoring system is equipped with a RS485 or RS422 bus, this kit will allow interfacing the
UPS with the proper customer physical layer.
Follow instruction provided by the Mgate user manual for the connection of the wires at customer side.
