Video Interfaces
The EPM-31 incorporates the Intel Gen-7 graphics core with four Execution Units and Turbo
Boost. It supports two independent displays. It also supported formats including DirectX 11,
OpenGL 3, VP8, MPEG2, H.264, VC1, 2 HD streams (1080p@30fps), Flash and WMP support.
The analog (VGA) and Mini DisplayPort video interfaces support Extended Desktop, Clone, and
Twin display modes.
The optional VL-EPH-V6 video adapter card converts DisplayPort output to LVDS for flat panel
operation.
VGA Interface
The VGA port supports resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz. This connector uses IEC 61000-
4-2-rated TVS components to help protect against ESD damage.
When the EPM-31 board is booted, the BIOS tests for a video monitor attached to the VGA port.
If a monitor is not detected during this test, the VGA signals are disabled.
