Chapter 6 System Tools 

This section focuses on how to maintain ceiling AP. Including Change Password, Restore to 

Factory, Backup/Restore, Upgrade (firmware), Reboot, and System Log. 

 

6.1    Change Password 

This section is to set a new user name and password to better secure your ceiling AP and 

network. Click 

Apply

 after you complete. 

 

 

 

 

User Name:

 

Enter a new user name for the device. 

 

Old Password:

 

Enter the old password. 

 

New Password: 

Enter a new password. 

 

Re-enter to Confirm:

 

Re-enter to confirm the new password. 

 

 

 

 

NOTE

It is highly recommended to change the password to secure your network and 

the ceiling AP. 

 

 

6.2    Restore to Factory 

This is to reset all configurations to the default values. It means the ceiling AP will lose all the 

settings you have set.
