Setting Video Compression
► To set video compression
1. In a web browser, type the IP address of the IP camera in the Address bar,
and then press ENTER.
2. Type the username and password.
3. Click
Video > Video Compression
.
4. From the
H.264-1 and H.264-2 compression settings
sections, set the
bit rate for H.264-1 and H.264-2.
5. From the
CBR Mode Settings
section, select to enable CBR mode for
H.264-1 or H.264-2.
Note
If CBR is not selected, then VBR is used. In CBR mode the video encoder
will cap the bit rate up to the configured bit rate.
6. Click
Save
for each option.
Setting the Video OCX Protocol
► To set video OCX protocol
1. In a web browser, type the IP address of the IP camera in the Address bar,
and then press ENTER.
2. Type the username and password.
3. Click
Video > Video OCX Protocol
.
4. From the
Video OCX protocol settings
sections, select one of the
following:
RTP over UDP
RTP over RTSP(TCP)
RTSP over HTTP
Multicast Mode:
Type the multicast IP address.
For H.264-1 and H.264-2, type the multicast Video Port.
Type the Multicast Audio Port.
Type the Multicast TTL.
5. Click
Save
for each option.
