Performing an On/Off Hook Test
The On/Off Hook test reports the hook state of each voice port line.
To perform an On/Off Hook test:
1. Type
O
on the POTS Diagnostics menu to select On/Off Hook Test.
The IAD displays the status of the test as it runs in real time:
2. Press Enter to terminate the test. The IAD displays the POTS
Diagnostics menu.

Legend: .=onhook, ^=offhook, #=ring ground, &=no
ring ground, *=flash hook
