PROCEDURE 2. TROUBLESHOOT PROBE CONNECTION ISSUES
If the probe is not functioning, or if the console displays an error message indicating that the probe is not
attached, use this procedure to troubleshoot the issue.
1. Check to see if external power is connected. If it is, disconnect it. If this does not resolve the problem,
continue to Step 2.
2. If necessary, press the
On/Off
button . When prompted, confirm that you want the system to turn off,
and then wait for it to do so.
3. Press the
On/Off
button again to activate the system.
4. If the message appears again and you have an extra battery, repeat Step 2. Replace the battery according
to the instructions in the procedure
on page 23, and then repeat Step 3.
5. If the message still appears, contact Verathon Customer Care.
PROCEDURE 3. TROUBLESHOOT PROBE AIMING ISSUES
Use this procedure to troubleshoot the following problems:
• The initial aiming scan is not successful.
• The aiming image is off center, but moving the probe in the expected direction of the bladder moves
the image further off center.
1. On the Home screen, verify that the selected position reflects your position in relation to the patient.
