4.4 Enabling / Disabling Chime Zones
Any zone which is set to chime mode will cause the control unit to generate a two-tone sound when the
zone is activated with the system in
“day / unset”
– this could be used on a shop front door, or back or
garage doors of a residential premises.
To change chimed zones use the following procedure
Quick key sequence
enables chime zone

disables chime zone.
Repeat until all zones are programmed

Press until the required zone is displayed.
To set chime ON, display changes to zone number flashing.
To set chime OFF, display changes back to zone number steady.
If required press again and proceed as above until all required chime zones
programmed

To store and retain chime settings to memory.
The “ RESET”
key can be pressed
at any time to cancel the above procedure and return the control unit to
“day /
unset”.
