6. BLOWER REMOVAL

The IC700, IC700ES and IB700 Series range hoods are factory shipped with the blower mounted
for a vertical discharge configuration. For a horizontal discharge configuration in models IC700
and IB700, disassemble the blower from the inner top of the hood by following the steps below.
It will be assembled to the inner back of the hood once the hood is mounted on the wall.

Using a screwdriver, remove the metal
shutoff plate located on the top of the
hood by unscrewing both retaining
screws. Discard plate and screws.

1. Unplug the blower.
