SYMBOL MACHINE OPERATING MODES
Machine OFF:
with power and pneumatic energy supply disconnected.
Machine on:
not running and ready to start (stand-by condition) by functional activation (e.g.
presence of materials to be processed), moving guards closed with safety devices included and fixed
guards closed.
Machine on:
with electrical and pneumatic power supply connected and in safe stopping using open
movable guards (specifying which one); JOG not enabled; fixed guards closed.
Machine on:
with electrical and pneumatic power supply connected and in safe stopping using
emergency mushroom-type button in latched position or any other control device for such purpose,
located near the operation area (specifying which button or device must be used).
Machine in motion:
in automatic mode, movable guards closed and interlocking devices enabled, and
fixed guards closed.
Machine in motion:
with jogging inching function (JOG), movable guards closed and interlocking
devices enabled, and fixed guards closed.
Machine in motion,
with jogging inching operation (JOG), one or more excludable movable guards
open (specifying which one) with interlocking devices disabled, any remaining movable guards closed
with the interlocking devices enabled and fixed guards closed.
