User access

Choose the other users who can associate the charger to their account and the

control you want to have over the process. Consult the

USERS AND PROFILES

section of this USER GUIDE to see the different profile types and what each one

can do.

There are three different types to choose from:

NOBODY: No users can associate the charger to their account.

EVERYBODY: Any user can associate the charger to their account.

AUTHORISE: When a user tries to link the charger to their account you will

receive an alert prompting you to authorise it.

Changes in these settings will have no effect on users who already had the

charger associated to their account before the changes were made.

Lock Control

Choose how to lock the charger and prevent anybody apart from yourself from

using your device without permission. There are three types of Lock Control:

FREE: The charger will always be unlocked (and anybody can use it).

PROXIMITY: The charger will be locked until you approach it. To unlock

the charger you must have your mobile phone with you and the VELTIUM

App must be at least running in the background.

In PROXIMITY mode, the charger will unlock as you approach it when

the VELTIUM App and the charger communicate with one another using

Bluetooth. Read the

COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE CHARGER

section of this USER GUIDE for more information.

MANUAL: The charger will stay locked until you press the

Unlock

button

on the Charge screen.

Installation data

To ensure that the charger represents absolutely no risk to the electrical

installation while running, it is VERY IMPORTANT to correctly define the

maximum intensity tolerance of the charger’s electrical installation. This means

that you must check the electricity panel from which the device takes its supply

and configure the

intensity of the general protection of the installation

.

If you have any doubts, consult the electrician who wired and

installed your charger.
