16 Information on re-use
The product is generally suitable for re-use. Please note, however, that the product and its per-
manently welded dimensions have been tailored to a specific user.
Similar to second-hand machines or vehicles, products that are being re-used are subject to
increased strain. Features and functions must not change in a way that could endanger users or
third parties during re-use.
First of all, the relevant product must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before re-use. Then
the product must be examined by an authorised specialist to check the condition and to look for
wear and tear and possible damage. All worn and damaged parts as well as components which
do not fit or are unsuitable for the new user must be replaced.
17 Lifetime
Expected lifetime: 5 years
The design, manufacturing and requirements for the intended use of the product are based on
the expected lifetime. These also include the requirements for servicing and for ensuring the
effectiveness and safety of the product.
