Windows Hardware Driver Installation
15. (Figure 1-8) When the driver installation is complete, a screen will appear
with the prompt: “Cannot Start this Hardware.” This is a temporary condition
that will rectify itself upon system software installation. Click Finish.
16. Close the screen and return to Device Manager. Do
not
reboot the computer
at this time, since you will be installing additional drivers.
17. Return to Step 7 to load the second HD Pro driver, and do so again for the
third. Do not reboot until the final (third) driver is installed
18. When the three drivers have been installed properly, the Device Manager
screen should look similar to that in Figure 1-9, page 19.
19. Note the exclamation marks on the CineView driver(s) you just installed.
Following Vela system software installation, which starts on page 20, the excla-
mation marks will disappear and the resultant Device Manager screen will look
similar to that in Figure 1-10.
20. Reboot the computer.
21. The Vela System Software Setup screen (Figure 1-11, page 21) should appear
after the reboot. If it does not, run
setup.exe
from the CD-ROM or Start > Run.
22. Follow the directions found at “Software Installation,” page 20.
