B y means of the LED indicating board , you can see the actual
receiving level during adjustment .
W hen the indication moves to the right , the instrument will be more
insensitive , to the left more sensitive .
I n applications with products having a good signal damping ( for
example stones , ore , sand , cement ) and where buildup and
contamination is expected , you should adjust the instrument more
insensitive . I n this case , the VEGAMIP
61
switches only with a
relatively high signal damping by the medium . P robable buildup does
not in fl uence the measurement .
I n case of buildup , press the key ( to the right ) until the fl ashing LED s
are at the right edge of the LED indication strip . F or strong buildup , you
can press the key several times to make the instrument less sensitive .
T he indication of the LED indication board does not change , but the
instrument will become a little less sensitive with each pressing of the
key
.
