W hen used as directed in normal operation , VEGAMET 381
E x is completely maintenance free .
7 . 2 R ectify faults
VEGAMET 381 E x o ff ers maximum reliability . N evertheless
faults can occur during operation . T hese may be caused by the
following , e . g .:

M easured value of the sensor not correct
l
V oltage supply
l
I nterference on the cables
T he fi rst measures to be taken are to check the input / output
signals as well as to evaluate the error messages via the
display . T he procedure is described below . I n many cases , the
causes can be determined in this way and faults can be
recti fi ed .
