2.1 Overview
This chapter describes how to configure the IP Address programmed on MPA systems,
containing the new SCM-210 (System Controller Module) .
For MPA system containing an AM4022 Processor and MCH Controller module , please
refer to an earlier revision of this manual (i.e. 402227N ) for configuring the IP Address.
The MPA’s IP Address is configured in the SCM-210 and used for all Ethernet communication to the
MPA system, such as Remote GUI , VNC and SCPI , via the RJ-45 LAN Port .
The
MPA’s current IP Address
is displayed on the OLED display screen.

When the system is shipped from the factory, the SCM-210’s default IP Address is set to
192.168.0.10 , with a Subnet Address of 255.255.255.0 and Router Address of 192.168.0.1 .
This chapter will cover two different methods of changing the MPA s default IP Address.

( preferred method )
•
Remote GUI Client
( must currently be connected by the VNC or Remote GUI client )
Note: Regardless which method you use to change the IP Address, you will need to reboot the
MPA system in order for the setting to take effect.
