7.  Operat ion

i

In this chapter we describe an 

example 

configuration

 of the Vectron POS software. 

Programming and configuration of your POS 
system may differ considerably from your 
POS system.
Your Vectron specialist retailer has 
programmed the POS MobilePro III for you 
and is your contact partner for questions 
concerning the programming.

7.1.  Switching on and shutting down 

POS MobilePro III 

7.1.1.  Switching on POS MobilePro III 

If the POS MobilePro III was started as described in chapter 
in chapter 6 “Start-up” on page 46 you can switch on your 
POS system.

•  Shortly press the on-/off key 

 at the bottom left on the 

keyboard to switch on the POS MobilePro III.

As soon as the registration surface is displayed, the 
POS MobilePro III is ready for operation.

7.1. 2 .  Shutting down POS MobilePro III 

•  Press simultaneously the on-/off key 

 at the bottom left 

on the keyboard and the soft key 

 on top right on the 

keyboard until the status LEDs shine blue and red and the 
vibration motor is released briefly.

•  Release both keys. 

The message „The system will shut down“ is displayed. As 
soon as the status LEDs go out, the POS MobilePro III is 
switched off.
