CHECKING BRAKE FLUID LEVEL
Your brake fl uid should never go below the MIN
mark on the reservoir. Air can enter the reservoir
if the fl uid level is below MIN. This could cause
problems in your scooter’s system. Brake fl uid
should always be topped off and changed on
a routine basis. The brake fl uid reservoirs are
located on the handlebar assembly.
It is recommended that the brake lines be
changed every four years.
If you fi nd excessive play on the brake lever but
the brake pads are still in good condition, you
should go to a service agent at your earliest
convenience to get the system checked out.
WARNING!
Brake fl uid may damage the scooter’s paint and
plastic parts if accidentally spilled.
Brake fl uid can cause damage and injuries if not
handled properly and safely.
If the brake fl uid gets on your skin you should
wash off immediately with running water. If
the brake fl uid gets into your eyes fl ush with
running water, and seek medical attention.
Never mix old and new fl uid. Always check for
proper sealing.
