1. THROTTLE/REGEN POSITION
The throttle in the right handlebar is a
distinctive feature of your Vectric Electric MAXI-
Scooter. The throttle is the user interface, which
determines forward motion as well as implement-
ing regenerative braking and the reverse feature.
This bi-directional throttle is very simple to use.

Roll the throttle downward (rearward) to
accelerate in the forward direction. (A)

Release the throttle and it returns to a
neutral position.

To activate regenerative braking simply roll the
throttle forward beyond the neutral positions
and you will progressively engage regenerative
braking. (B)

From a standstill position rolling the throttle
forward puts the scooter in reverse at a very
low speed to maneuver out of tight parking
situations. (B)

2. ON/OFF (POWER) SWITCH
The power switch is a fast, convenient meth-
od of shutting down the scooter in either
an emergency or under normal operation.
Use your right thumb to operate the power
switch. Push up to turn the switch on, and
push down to turn the switch off.
