Safety
1. The product is approved for use in dry and damp rooms, as well as in wet rooms, but not in highly inflammable or Ex-zone areas.
2. ATTENTION!
Parts of this product may be very hot and cause burns.
Special attention must be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
3. The product can be used by children aged from 8 years and up, as well as by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervisory
guidance or information on how to use the product in a safe manner and understand the risks which may occur.
Children should not play with the product.
Cleaning and maintenance may not be performed by children without the proper guidance.
4. Children, below the age of 3, must be kept away unless under constant supervision. Children from the age of 3 and under 8,
shall only have the option of turning on/ off the product, provided it has been placed or installed in its intended
normal place for usage and that they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the product
in a safe manner and have an understanding of the hazards involved. Children age 3 and not older than 8, may not insert the
plug, adjust and clean the product, or perform user maintenance.
The wall-mounted fan heaters of the type ENV, are available in five power ratings; 2kW, 3kW, 5kW, 9kW and 15kW.
ENV has a switch on the
front panel for switching
the heater on and off, and to
change from full to reduced
power.
Fan motor operation can be
changed from continuous to
intermittent operation, in
which the fan motor follows
the thermostat function. This
is done by moving the con-
ductor from terminal 8 to 9.
In addition to the horizontal
position, the heaters can be
angled downward 10° or 20°.
Additionally, the heaters can
be positioned 30° laterally.
Installation
1. The heaters are approved for installation in dry and damp rooms, as well as in wet rooms, but not in highly inflammable
or Ex-zone areas.
2. The heater must be connected to the electricity grid with the placement of a fixed round cable.
Conduit entry must be of the type which allows the heater's enclosure class to be retained.
3. An omnipolar-disconnecting switch with a contact clearance of at least 3mm must be included in the fixed installation.
4. The installation must be done by a qualified electrician.
5. The heater has a S, CE and EMC marking and is designed in accordance with the following standards:
EN 60335-1 / EN 60335-2-30 / EN 61000-3-2 / EN 61000-3-3 / EN 61000-6-2 / EN 61000-6-3.
6. The heater is not to be placed directly under a wall socket.
