In the case of the
vehicle speed warning
you can enter an absolute
value. If this value is reached, an audible signal is emitted and a popup
screen appears, provided that you have activated this option. The vehicle
speed warning is not based on the speed indicated by the speedometer
but on the vehicle speed determined by the navigation system.

Select “Speed warning” in the “Settings” menu. Press the OK key.

Move the cursor to the “Warning … km/h over limit” field. Select
“Warning … km/h” to set the absolute vehicle speed value. Press
the OK key after selecting each option.

to set the warning threshold, press the
OK key.

To switch the audible warning on / off select “Car speed warning
on/off”. Press the OK key.
The current status (on/off) is indicated by the colour of the square (red:
off / green: on). Each press of the OK key toggles the speed warning on or
off.
Remote control
There are various remote controls for your system. The respective remote
control used must be activated under “Remote control”.

Select “Remote control” in the “Settings” menu. Press the OK key.

Select “Store”, and press the OK key.
Favourite function
This button on the remote control is programmed so that specific
functions are activated when you press it briefly or press it and hold it
down. Please note that this function is only available in conjunction with
the RC 5400 remote control.

Select “Favourites function” in the “Settings” menu. Press the OK
key.

Press the Favourites button briefly or press and hold the Favourites
button, depending on the assignment required, and press the OK
key.

Select the desired assignment, select “Store” and press the OK key.
