Motion Detection
(transmitter only)
You can select the image areas to be monitored by the video sen-
sor. The video image is divided into 242 square cells. You can acti-
vate or deactivate every one of these cells. For example, if you want
to exclude certain areas in the field of vision of the camera from the
monitoring because there's continuous motion in that area (trees in
the wind), deactivate the corresponding cells.
In order for the video sensor to function, the following conditions
must be satisfied:

The motion detection must be activated.
z
At least one cell must be activated.
z
The sensitivity must be set to a value greater than zero.

Click on the button
Configuration
to open the window for configu-
ration of the video sensor.

Click with the left-hand mouse key in the cells you wish to activate.
The activated cells are displayed in red.

Click on the button
Select All
to monitor the whole video image, or
)
click on the button
Clear All
to deactivate the selected cells and to
start the selection again.
)
Set the sensitivity by moving to the slide controller with the mouse
key depressed to the desired position.

Click on
Set
to terminate the settings and to close the window.
Attention!
Light reflections (e.g. in glass facades) or changes in light due to
individual clouds in bright daylight can result in undesirable reac-
tions of the video sensor and thus in false alarms. Carry out suffi-
cient tests to ensure the correct function of the video sensor.
For surveillance of indoor areas, ensure a constant lighting of the
areas during the day and at night.
