10. Troubleshooting
WARNING: To reduce risk of personal injury,
unplug carpet washer before servicing.
PROBLEM: Carpet washer won’t pick-up or low
suction
Cause:
The dirty water tank door is not installed.
Solution:
Insert the dirty water tank door.
Cause:
The dirty water tank door is not installed
correctly.
Solution:
Review placing dirty water tank in base of
carpet washer.
Cause:
The dirty water tank is full.
Solution:
Empty the dirty water tank.
Cause:
The dirty water passage clogged.
Solution:
Clean the dirty water tank.
PROBLEM: Water escaping from carpet washer
Cause:
The dirty water tank is full.
Solution:
Empty the dirty water tank.
Cause:
The dirty water tank is not installed correctly
.
Solution:
Review placing dirty water tank in base of
cleaner.
Cause:
The clean water tank is not installed properly.
Solution:
Review clean water tank installation.
PROBLEM: Carpet washer won’t dispense solution
Cause:
The clean water tank is not installed properly.
Solution:
Review How to Operate.
Cause:
The carpet washer needs a service.
Solution:
Take it to service center or contact Vax
Careline.
PROBLEM: Carpet washer attachments won’t pick up
Cause:
The hose is clogged.
Solution:
Remove the hose and tools; remove
obstruction.
Cause:
The dirty water tank is full.
Solution:
Empty the dirty water tank.
PROBLEM: Carpet washer attachments won’t spray
Cause:
The solution tube is not connected properly
.
Solution:
Connect the solution tube properly.
