• Check the ‘This pack contains’ panel on the box to make sure the part is included
with your Wet & Dry vacuum.
• The lid may not be correctly fitted, remove the lid from the Wet & Dry vacuum
and refit ensuring it’s locked into place. The lid will not fit correctly if the filter bag
is not in place.
• The filter or filter bag may be clogged. To clean the filter or filter bag go to ‘Taking
care of your machine’.
• The tank maybe full, empty the tank. Go to ‘Taking care of your machine’.
• There may be a blockage in the hose/tube. Disconnect from the Wet & Dry vacuum
and carefully remove any blockages.
• Float may be stuck in the upright position. The Wet & Dry vacuum is fitted with a
float. When the tank is full, the float will shut off the suction to the vacuum. You will
be able to hear if this has happened as the motor noise will increase. Once the float
is activated, switch off the Wet & Dry vacuum and empty the tank. If the tank is not
full, then turn off the Wet & Dry vacuum at the power switch and wait for the float
under the lid to settle.
