5 Mounting

5.1

Mounting instruction

Note!

1. The flexible tube length of the 4532 ATC is defined for the customer’s specifica-

tions. Before mounting, please check as follows:

•

The tag number (if available) on the body of the 4532 ATC

•

The length of the flexible tube

•

The number of measuring points

•

The intervals between measuring point

2. Mounting the 4532 ATC at a minimum of 500 mm (19.67") away from the tank shell.

This will ensure that the measurement is not influenced by changes in ambient

temperature.

3. The procedure for mounting the 4532 ATC on a tank depends on the type of tank.

Here we shall explain the procedures for a fixed roof tank and for a floating roof

tank.

In any case, the flexible tube head is mounted on the tank top as show in fig. 5.

The mounting nozzle should have a diameter of 50 mm (2") as standard.
