WHAT TO DO
Generator
After each use
- Remove dust using a cloth.
- Check there are no broken parts, corrosion or liquid leaks.
- Keep the openings for cooling the engine clean and free.
Fuel pipes
After each use
- Check that there are no cuts or cracks.
- Check that there are no fuel leaks.
- If necessary, have the pipes replaced by an authorised service centre.
Fuel filter (on the fuel cap) Before each refuelling
Take out the filter and clean any impurities.
Air filter
Clean every 50 hours
of use.
Replace every 100 hours
of use.
In case of use in dusty
areas, clean and replace
parts more often.
1. Fig.G: unscrew the screw(s) and take off the door (pos.20) to access the engine.
2. Open the filter box (pos.31).
3. Remove the filter element (pos.32); if it is worn replace.
4. Wash the filter element (sponge), dry it well then immerse it in oil and
squeeze it to remove the excess oil.
5. Reassemble the filter and its box.
6. Reassemble the door of the casing and tighten the screw(s).
Spark plug
Clean every 50 hours
of use.
Replace every 200 hours
of use.

fications in the manual.

2. Open the door (pos.19) to access the top part of the engine.
3. Disconnect the spark plug cap and unscrew the spark plug (pos.33) with the
correct spanner.
4) Check the spark plug and in case of carbon residue remove with a metal
brush (not included). Replace the spark plug if the electrode is excessively
worn or the insulation is damaged.
5. Measure the distance between the electrodes using a thickness gauge (not
included) cross-checking with the value indicated in fig. H; adjust if necessary.
6. Screw the spark plug by hand.
7. Secure a used spark plug with around ¼ turn of the spanner, and a new
one with around ½ turn of the spanner.
8. Insert the spark plug cap.
9. Reassemble the door.
Engine oil level check
Before each use and each
refuelling
Do a level check and top up as indicated in the chapter “Internal combustion
engine”.
Replacing the engine oil
After the first month or
after the first 10 hours of
use (if reached first).
Then every 12 months or
every 100 hours of use (if
reached first).
- The engine oil change must be done by an authorised service centre.
- The used oil should be disposed of at collection and disposal centres.
General check-up
Alternator check-up.
Electrical panel sockets

Earth return check-up.
Muffler check-up.
Fuel cock and piping check-up.
