Preheating
The Preheating function is used to heat the appliance to a higher tempera-
ture during the first hour of operation, after which the temperature will be
adjusted to the set value. Preheating accelerates the temperature rise of cold
plates.
1. Preheating
During Preheating, the display remains off and the indicator light flashes.

perature reached
Once the operating temperature has been reached, the set temperature
is displayed.

Preheating is interrupted in the following cases:
maximum 1 hour after start, or
the temperature setting has been changed, or
the maximum temperature of 70° has been reached
Preheating is disabled if the temperature in the appliance goes above
60° at startup (appliance already hot).
To restart Preheating voluntarily (e.g. if you reload the appliance with
cold plates) just briefly turn it off and then on again.
