Before the first wash cycle
Preparing the laundry
• To remove any of the residual water used during testing by the manufacturer, we recommend
that you run a short cycle without any load.
1. Open the water tap.
2. Close the door.
3. Pour a small amount of washing product (approx. 30 ml) into the main wash compartment
of the dispenser drawer.
4. Choose a short program and start the cycle (see the Quick Reference Guide).
1. Sort the laundry by taking into account the following criteria...
• The type of fabric/symbols on the care label
Items made of cotton, blended fibres, synthetic/easy-care materials, wool, hand-washable
materials.
• The "Wool" wash cycle of this machine has been tested and approved by The Woolmark
Company for wool garments labelled "machine washable"; take into account the manufacturer's
washing instructions for this washing machine and those of the manufacturer of the clothing
for machine washing.
Colours
• Wash coloured and white clothing separately. Wash new coloured clothing separately.
Loading
• Wash similar sized items together so that the washing is more efficient and the items are
more evenly distributed in the drum.
Delicate textiles
• Wash small items (e.g. nylon stockings, belts, etc.) and items with hooks (such as bras) in a
laundry bag or zipped pillowcase. Always remove curtain rings or wash them in a laundry bag.
