Cleaning the gas burners
•
Remove the enamelled grill plates, burner caps, and upper burners (Fig. 13).
•
Clean them using soapy water.
• Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Ensure not to leave them wet.
• After cleaning, ensure that all pieces have been put back in place correctly.
• Avoid cleaning any part of the cooktop with a metal sponge. This may scratch the surface.
• The upper surfaces of the enamel grills may change over time, due to use and the burner
flames.
These parts will not be affected by rust and these changes are not manufacturing defects.
•
While cleaning the cooktop, ensure that water does not flow into the burners to avoid
clogging the injectors.
Enamel parts -
In order to preserve their condition, clean these parts regularly with warm and soapy water,
then dry them using a soft cloth. Do not wash them while they're still warm, and never use
abrasive powders or cleaning products. Do not leave the following elements in contact for
an extended period of time with enamel parts: vinegar, coffee, salt, water, lemon, or tomato
juice, which risk permanently altering the enamelled surface.
