The laundry has
become stiff after
washing. (**)
• Not enough detergent is being
used.
• If the water is hard, using too little
detergent can cause the laundry
to become stiff over time. Use an
appropriate amount of detergent for
the water hardness.
• The detergent was put in the
wrong compartment.
• If detergent is introduced into
the prewash compartment when
the prewash cycle is not selected,
the machine may draw out this
detergent during the rinsing or
softening stage. Put the detergent
in the right compartment.
• The detergent may have been
mixed with the fabric softener.
• Avoid mixing fabric softener with
detergent. Wash and clean the
detergent drawer with hot water.
