9.4 Carrying out maintenance work
Cleaning the water filter

1. Unscrew the cold water connection.
2. Remove the water filter (1) from the
cold water connection and clean it
under running water.
3. Insert the water filter into the cold wa-
ter connection.
4. Screw in the cold water connection.
9.5 Completing inspection and
maintenance work

1. Place the front casing on the product.
2. Carefully push the front casing onto
the product.
3. Attach the fixing screws.
4. Install all of the components in re-
verse order.
5. Draw off water at the product until
the water escapes without any air
bubbles. (

6. Re-establish the power supply.
7. Start up the product.
8. Check that the product functions cor-
rectly and check the leak-tightness.
9. Log all maintenance work that is car-
ried out.
10 Draining the product
Danger!
Risk of scalding caused by
hot water
When draining the domestic hot
water, there is a risk of spraying
if the water is drained via the
water connections.

Wait for 10 minutes after dis-
connecting from the power
supply.
1. Disconnect the instantaneous water
heater from the power supply.
2. Close the stopcock on the cold water
connection.
3. Open the draw-off point's water tap.
4. Unscrew the water connections.
5. Remove the product from its frame.
6. Drain the remaining water from the
product via the water connections.
